On Wednesday, January 24, EMAB, the GNWT Cumulative Impact Monitoring Program (CIMP) and the North Slave Metis Alliance (NSMA) held a public meeting for NSMA members and the public. The meeting was held in the Champagne Room in Yellowknife. Dinner began at 5:30 and was followed by presentations from EMAB and CIMP. Fifteen people attended the meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to inform NSMA members and the public about recent activities at Diavik and CIMP-funded research projects.
