Where is EMAB?
EMAB members live all over the North, representing their communities at board meetings every two months. When possible, and when the budget allows, we hold board meetings in the communities themselves. Otherwise, the Board meets in Yellowknife in a boardroom we share with the environmental watchdog for the Ekati mine.
Staff work from the Yellowknife office, located at 5006 Franklin, room 204. (Second floor of the 50-50 Mini Mall.)
We keep a library of materials that relate directly to the environment and Diavik. Some of these can be found on this website. Other documents date back some years and are in paper form only. Everyone is welcome to stop by our office to look at these documents.
