EMAB’s Response to Diavik Request for Minister to Wind Down

EMAB has responded to the Minister’s consultation on Diavik’s request to wind down EMAB. EMAB strongly opposes Diavik’s proposal to shut it down by March 2027. EMAB should continue providing independent oversight of the Diavik mine until closure is complete and monitoring shows the site is safe and stable.
